    Touchscreen Issues

    Hey all,
Hey has anybody had issues with the touchscreen on the PMID701i not responding in certain area's? I tried to move an app on screen to the trash bin but it would not let me pick it up to move it. It let me pick up others and move them but not in this one area. It's the upper right area of the tablet when I'm holding it with the Polaroid symbol in the upper left corner and all the buttons are at the top. I thought maybe I could re-calibrate the screen but I don't see an option in the Settings menu, even though Southern Telecom says there is one. I have had some issues with it not responding or slow to respond and I wondered if I should do a factory reset but I figured I'd better ask first. What should I do here? Let me know. Thanks!

I owned 3 yarviks now and with power ac plugged in there was touchscreen problems.
If you touch below left some timed the sreen react on a other place etc...
Or if you typ on the keyboard other letters then where you touch it.
And if you unplugged the ac adapter then the problem is solved.

      Went back to Android 2.3

Well I kept having issues with applications having to be force closed and the touchscreen not responding so I took all my info off the 701i and moved it back to the 701C. I then did a factory reset on the 701i and it seems to be stable now but of course all that was on it was wiped clean. I started to have issues when I installed avast! mobile security so I took it off, then the internet browser that came with the tablet started to have issues, then other apps started to have issues and it seemed like it just started to cascade from there. Every time I turned it on it was asking to force close some app that wasn't responding so I wiped the tablet and started over. Well now that I did a factory reset it seems ok. I still have a few touchscreen problems but I've already raised that issue with Southern Telecom and I'll see what they say. I like ICS and how it looks but Gingerbread seemed more stable and could handle a lot more apps than ICS. Maybe it's me, but it just seems that way. Anyone else have these problems?
