New Polaroid tablet MIDC700PR

Anyone who knows this tablet? Got it this week and I'm looking for a custom rom.

Spec say it's a 1.4 Ghz processor, but Antutu doesn't recognize it, says unknown.

From the specs on the WWW site it looks like it's a Europe-only deal so far guys. Processor seems to be a Cortex A8 1,4 GHz , not sure if it's a Allwinner A10 type though, given that the sd card slot seems on this tablet to be limited to 16 gigs max. while the polaroids we all have seem to with the A10's have the max limit of 32 gigs. Internal flash seems to be 4 gigs, no mention of ram, so guessing maybe 512 megs since it's running ICS 4.0. Looks like it has HDMI out though. Also seems to have a camera.

SD-Card slot is 32GB max, memory is 512 DDR 3, mini HDMI, camera 0,3 Mp.

And indeed, it looks like a Zeki tablet, but that's got 1GB DDR 3.

It DOES look like a white Zeki. I wonder if there is a stock ROM available for it? I would LOVE to get my Zeki back to working order after my bad flashes. I did find a ROM that does not boot loop, but the screen touch system and G-Sensor does not work, so I have to use it with a USB kb/mouse.

Polaroid MIDC700

Hello fellow forum members,

I come here for help. I bought this tablet 3 weeks ago from a Kijkshop in the Netherlands. I was lured by the 1.4 Ghz processor which is advertised on their website and on the box of the tablet and by the ''512 DDR III Ram''. For my surprise very little of this is actually in the tablet. After some searching on google I found out that I am a victim of dirty marketing games. The 1.4Ghz cpu speed actually means you got 1Ghz CPU and 400Mhz GPU. The RAM is 300MB and the ROM is 500MB. Also they say you got 4GB NAND flash memory from which I can use only 2GB.......

I can provide additional info on request and make some benchmark to show you what is in this tablet. This is my first encounter with Android OS. I really want to root it and try to overclock the cpu.

P.S. just tryed PDaNet ADB drivers and UnlockRoot but when i click root in the UR a window pops up asking me ''try to install driver''?!?! ( I already installed ADB drivers) when i click OK the same window pops up seconds later....
