Can a supplier brick my box?

Hi I am new to these android boxes and have probably a stupid question. I brought a fully loaded box from a company with their own wizard built in in case of any problems. They have stated in their instructions that if their wizard is tampered with in any way they will 'brick' the box. Not that I have the slightest clue how to mess with anything in the box apart from the standard stuff but is this something that they would be able to do remotely? My concern is that after the years warranty somebody could do this for possible extra sales?

Hi there, im no expert but I very much doubt the supplier can do this even if he could do it witch I don't think he could, it could be undone the these tv box's are very hard to permanently brick.
