XBMC 13.0 Gotham –reached "Release Candidate 1" stage finally

i thought this might be helpful to some u can download it straight from xbmc.org
I've been using it most of yesterday n into today n all seem's great so far no issues, though my setup would be considered basic with it just playing on my tv no audio pass through or anything else.
So what u guys think of this version of xbmc?

Did you test any of the plugins like icefilms and 1channel? My understanding is most all the extra plugins are broken in gotham so been reluctant to try.

Download it and install over your present XBMC, it will upgrade and leave all your addons and settings as they are.
Some addons may show as incompatible but should still work and most are already compatible.

sr about my delayed response, but all my plugins work 1channel, icefilm, ustv, only one that still gets kicked out still is projectfreetv but i don't use it any how.

Additionally the best way I've seen to do install all the channels i use is
1. Download n install xbmc of course
2. Go here on the device running xbmc n click direct download
3. Open xbmc click "program" then select "program add ons" then select "get more" scroll to the bottom select the second to the last thing "XBMCHUB.com Wizard" a window will popup n select "install"
5. Then back to the main program screen where you selected "get more" previously now instead select the new option "xbmchub.com wizard" then a list of different devices will come up n u select said device in this case android.

N then it will prompt to confirm u want it to do modify devise you say yes and it takes ten or so mins n its done

gotham RC1 and just XBMC

I have Gotham RC1 installed on Lewy's Just XBMC rom and it plays nicely with just XBMC. Mashup and mostly all of fusion add ons work. I currently use Transparency skin with Gotham.

It doesn't play fluidly the 1080 files from my external HDD. Just XBMC and MX player play flawlessly the same files.

I tried a clean install but when starting it goes back to android home screen. Anybody else have same issue? The beta4 release does start normally.

It's finally here

And since today we have the final Gotham release.http://xbmc.org

Unfortunately for me the final release doesn't "play nicely" on Just XBMC FW. It keeps closing before totally opening.

Looks like your not the only one who has the forced close issue. Looking forward for the M8 devices to be finalized.

Gotham RC1 worked very well . Do you think it is a RK problem ?
I can't understand why the RC worked and the final release doesn't....

I suppose we'll have to wait for Gotham Beyond XBMC or buy a AML box.

Edit: re downloaded the bug free version and ow it works.
