EM8 - Can't get Audio to pass thru receiver

Hey guys,

Just got my EM8 ( build kot49h.2014.04.18 test keys )

Everything works fantastic. Wifi signal is great .. Better then EKB311B. Airplay, miracast worked without a hitch. 1080 playback with 5.1 sound played flawless in XBMC Gotham.

Only problem i have have encountered is that it will not pass audio thru by Marantz receiver via Hdmi cable. Have tried all settings in Android and XBMC and all I get is clicking noises. Works fine connecting directly to the tv.

Any ideas?

Have not tried that. All my other boxes run fine thru the receiver via Hdmi .. Was just wondering if this was a firmware issue with the M8 or if I am doing something wrong.

It seems that the M8 just doesn't like the Marantz AVR. Hooked it up to my pioneer downstairs and it works
perfectly.
