In general, this version feels quicker than any other. Tried Gotham RC1 on two 1080p mkv files and several 1080p streams. Video works beautifully, audio sync is excellent and I found no incompatibilities with addons.

Sadly, the Play Store problem with paid apps remains. I tried three different apps and none would install.

Thank you for sharing this. We are so close to a high-performing daily driver!

Getting some pre-mature closures of the setting app. Once opened and using the back button on the remote, cause it to close pre-maturely does not happen all the time.

Apps like the updated Netflix don't work, the stock works but no HD.

Me too. Once in a while and for no apparent reason, I get: "msettings has stopped"

Same here ! I have had that with every rom i have tested. But the have all been 20140418 test-keys.
This is also the same rom only a diffrent kernel.

same here Settings Stopped etc. New Kernel ... Launcher is Laggy better to remove transition effects...

i can't seem to find a regular launcher on this firmware. Not a big fan of the windows 8 style.

I also noticed the mouse function on the remote is not as functional .

Xbmc runs fantastic !!

What I have found is This box don't like the Wireless Router Too close! I have 3-4mbps right next to Router 36mbps on the other side of the room LOL

sometimes remote mouse works ok sometimes

still having quite Low benchmark scores but almost every day we have new firmware so No complain

I only get around 18000 in antutu. I have checked the cpu and i seems to go up to 1.996
what are your scores?

you r right just a little indication of the development status

Guys,

these mean nothing antutu scores Chinese developer or manufacture can have lower specifications and still show higher results on antutu


This is the case with the smart phones from china they have 256meg ram slower cpu etc but when you run antutu it shows the same scores for example as an original Samsung s5 that has better cpu and more ram etc.

antutu scores is rubbish
