Video settings for HD playback- Streaming on M9 pro

The other day I tried to watch "The Avengers" on my M9 pro and it really struggled with the action scenes.

I was streaming using PGCine, using the airnet server and the main battle scenes from 1hr:45min or so kept freezing the playback.

I checked wifi and the buffering and the data seemed to be downloading fine, I also tried 3 different players, MX Player and ES player and something else but they all had the same issues around the same time.

Are there settings to reduce the resolution on the tablet itself that I am not seeing? Does anyone have any advice?

Hi, you can try adjusting the settings on the tablet. Go to 'settings' down to 'hdmi' then tap on 'hdmi resolution'. Good luck!

I tried that, but no luck.

It appears it is just not cut out for 1080p streaming and I will just have to stick to 720p.
