Google Sync error on PMID702C

Well i got a version of Google Market installed, but when i tried to run it....it said....

"Server error - retry"

Well, tried and tried and would not connect, so I looked it up. Google suggested turning sync on and off on your gmail account...which I did....and i also deleted and re-added the account.

Now when i look at my gmail account it says...

"sync error - sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly."

I have no problem accessing Market from my phone or my other Polaroid Tablet (PMID701i). I have been struggling with getting Market installed on the PMID702C. Steps I have taken are:

1) Reset it to factory defaults and erased all the data on it.

2) Flash the ROM with the LiveSuite file from SouthernTelecom.

3) Tried to install the Liquid_Limez.rar Market fix but the tablet wouldn't connect

4) tried the gapps file (OneTimeInitializer, Setup, GoogleFramework and vending apk files). GoogleFrame work would not install, but the vending file installed ok...however when i run the Market app, I get that "Server Error - retry" msg.

I don't understand why this process worked so smoothly on my PMID701i, but has been a nightmare on my PMID702C. I have posted in other threads, and received some useful responses, but none have seemed to work.

Does ANYONE know how to fix this properly?

Hi,

I had a similar issues when testing a rom on my A10bG3.
Found a fix for it, link is below. I don't know if this will resolve your issues but it's worth a go.
You don't lose anything doing this, it just refreshes the sync data.

Thanks Mr. Weelson....i tried that and still no sync.....getting VERY frustrated here....lol. I may just have to be content with the Amazon App Store....sighsss

did you check time and date?

They can have issues like this if the date isnt right because the certificates look expired

did you try using a file manager to put your vending and framework apps manually into /system/app on your 702c? remember to chafe permissions on the vending apk file to rw-r-r ? after that reboot your tablet see if you have market. if not then install the one time initialization and then reset. this worked well for me. good luck!

I have done that exact thing several times, and it did not solve the problem.
