    Problem with Q7 CS918

    Help please.

I have a Q7 (CS918) and at first it worked ok. Then, even though I connected even it to my tv I got HDMI no signal. After playing with the cable, it came back to normal. Now when I connect the box I get an orange screen. I can see everything underneath just a orange screen on top. Any ideas?

    Maybe another HDMI cable?
I also bought a 'micro HDMI to HDMI adapter' e.g. at ****, so I'm able to use a normal HDMI cable too...

Did you ever figure this out? I've tried new cables, firmwares, settings, even a different Q7 box and nothing changes. The boxes work fine on the 3 tv's in our house but don't show up on my father in laws Panasonic or my brothers Panasonic. But it will work on his upstairs Samsung. On my mum's LG she gets the red screen which has moved a third across the tv screen and you can see the picture beneath, but when you click on anything the screen goes to 'no input' for a few seconds and comes back on again. I think it's a hardware fault as my K-R42 works on any tv.
