    Pipo M6pro unrooted after update.

In december I bought a M6pro in pipomall, it came unrooted, so I used the sparky root, which worked fine.
now, a few days ago, Pipo released the kitkat upgrade for my model, and it works fine, but not only it's unrooted but the sparky root doesn't works anymore, it installs, but superSU doesn't installs correctly, so it can't even update or uninstall it.
Well, that's as far as I went, it's my first mobile device and don't know what else to try.

I have read about the ROMs that overclock the cpu and increase memory, but not sure I'm ready for that. yet.

on aun unrelated note, one of the sides of the screen has taken to click itself whenever it feels like it, and, in fact, all that side (the side with all the ports) have a weird touch recognition in a strip of about 1 cm wide. sending the device back is a no-no, i paid $150 dollars in taxes when it came (MX) the first time, as they charged me for it as if it were an iPad.

      You have some choices:

      1. Flash back to the original firmware you had (I'm assuming it was 4.2 Jellybean). You should be able to get it here: http://www.pipo.cn/En/index.php?m=Pr...&type=2&id=286 Then you can root again by your method...and see if the screen problem was associated with the firmware update.

      2. You can flash one of my ROM's...either another JB ROM, or switch to KitKat.

      JB ROM http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...-1-9-Jellybean
      KK ROM http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ROM-1-8-KitKat

My ROM's don't come with overclocked kernels...that's something you can download and add later.

Just do your homework before flashing. Read the First Time User's Guide and these threads:

          well

In the end decided to use the older chinese firmware from pipo for the time being -the english version is the kitkat one-, while I really like how kitkat works -and what I assume it does even better on a custom ROM- I am still too much of a coward.
I have a lot to read and understand on those links -and I guess things are going to change even more now with the official firmware out, right?- and when I feel ready, I will take this next step. want to be much more knowledgeable for the next generation of tablets.

It works now, just finished rooting the JellyBean and it worked just as it did before. sadly, compared to kitkat feels like wading in treacle. well, it's a matter of time, no hurries for me.

and the ghost clicks remain, there is something in the hardware, apparently.

Thank you, Riley! I was really lost on this.
