Although I will ask this question in the link you provided, but if you have an answer I would appreciate it:

I had problem using the manufacture SW with old tv using the AVI connection, so which is the best SW work with old tvÉ

I didn't expect that answer mainly from you Bob, the main 2 problems I have are, the screen doesn't fit the old TV, however, the factory SW has nice feature where I can adjust the screen by clicking 4 arrows, up, down, left, and right, and the other problem is that when I open an app that I installed, the screen rotate and I can't rotate it back, so if your SW has same screen position feature as the factory SW and if you can add an option to lock the screen rotation, then it might be OK to use an old TV with AVI cable.
