      Keep in Mind

      1. you will loose 5Ghz wifi altogether
      2. and xbmc av sync has only been fixed and paid apps

I think everyone is in the same boat maybe 18/04 was better with the new xbmc Rc1 a/v sync, only if we could stop the random blinking.

not sure if it feedback from the hdmi signal and tv being on or weather as TMx said activity light for the eternet.

There is an issue with the XBMC build with this firmware. The resolution is stuck at 1920x1080 and can't be changed. Not a big deal unless it's hooked up to a 720 tv then you lose a large portion of the screen when watching a movie. Edit : this must be a kernel thing as even stock XBMC Gotham video resolution is stuck at 1920x1080.

The wireless for 5ghz was still present but only at 2 bars .

Has anyone released a final version of XBMC Gotham that works with these boxes yet ?

although my firmware was from sztomato might test enybox later today although I think its all same firmware

I am using the NetGear N900 Dual Band Router. It is actually gone up to 3 bars when I checked again to take the picture. My router is also 3 floors up so 5G might be better on the same floor or a little closer to the unit.

Another issue with this firmware. The select or "ok" button does not work in the recovery screen so I am not able to select any of the options to : flash, wipe, partition etc...

I also tried with USB keyboard and mouse but it would not detect them.

                Any ideas ?

maybe reload? Both 2.4 and 5g working fine on mine. Ethernet is also much better.

also, interested to see if anyone can even load a new firmware as my select button doesn't work in recovery screen.

                        My ethernet was between 47-49mbps...

Stand By Led Problem Solved , no more blinks ...(update ; Still blinks time to time but not often)

I have moved the m8 away from the router (4-5mtr away) connected to pc monitor and got 36mbps on wifi!

Ultra high wifi signal levels giving some hiccups on every firmware I have tested so far...

Antutu score still around half of s89 vega around 14k ... Vega s89 score was 31k+!

I haven't tried this one yet but i got similar issues as being reported here by others when i tried Acemax 04/30 with XBMC RC. I lost the 5ghz on my tplink archer c7 but was ok on my netgear 3700. My box is Eny EM8. I also had issue with the OK button while trying to flash my box to ace max from Eny Apr.18 firmware..... I noticed that my box gets too slow after leaving it on standby for long. I read someone else had this issue when using the mouse. I am also using a mouse. I will try without it and report back. I will also try the new firmware posted here and report back.

try pressing the back arrow as your OK select button. For some reason that works for me in the recovery menu.
