All my cx-919 troubles. Any of them fixable?

I've actually came to a point I don't really use the device anymore. Which is a shame as I see the potential, but the device is just unusable. Here are some troubles I've come across:
    - Bluetooth disconnects suddenly: while listen to music through XBMC, suddenly my bluetooth speakers disconnect and sound is gone (or worse, goes through me inbuild screen speakers)
    - WiFi just disappears and droidmote can not be used anymore (or any other remote for that matter)
    - XBMC needs to be started twice: first time it just goes back to homescreen after a few sec. Starting again seems to work
    - bluetooth sound goes to mute if I adjust sound with droidmote
    - video sometimes stutters to unwatchable: although a reboot sometimes works. Using a different videoplayer gives different results.
    - XBMC sometimes decides it doesn't wanna hangout anymore....just closes
    - my portable usb drive is not always detected, seems to have a mood or something
    - In general the device seems to be very slow for a quadcore. My old galaxy s1 seems to be faster
    - bluetooth often has trouble connecting, sometimes its connected but I hear no sound until I turn off bluetooth

There is more stuff like apps not working, but these troubles are what holding me back from using it.
    Any thoughts?

    Btw, I'm running finless 1.6b default settings/kernel

For three months or so, I have Neomode 1.9a on my CX-919:

I know this is a pretty old ROM, but it works flawlessly for me and some other folks, we discussed it in a few threads, such as

Back in Jan-Feb I tried literally dozens of ROMs but all of them had issues, and then I finally found the Neomode 1.9a and I was very happy since. Watching this site regularly, I see there are new 4.4.2 kitkat roms, but I am still not convinced that they would work better on my device than Neomode 1.9a and I don't want to disturb a smoothly working system.

A few other notes. I don't use bluetooth so I don't know if it works or not on my cx-919. Also, a weak or defective power unit could cause the problems like you described as some people reported. And finally, usb hub 3.0 didn't work for me, only usb 2.0 works.

      I using http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ighlight=cx919

With the latest xbmc release no problem at all the other firmware I had problems.

neo 1.9 is also okay, but I like finless firmware that is personal.

        Thank you for the reply,

I'll try the ROM you're talking about.

Is it that the Android Stick world is too new to expect it to just work?

Why would you still use a JB ROM?
Kit Kat isn't Beta anymore and there are some excellent ROM's/Kernels available.

            I also own a CX919 and I'm using this ROM/Kernel combo:

            ROM:http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...4-4-2-*Update*

            Kernel: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...All-(well-most!)

This is working excellent for me.
The kernel is even OC'ed and unlocks the T-SoC's.

I'm also an XBMC lover, XBMC Gotham (Stable build) runs excellent on this combo.
Try it, you will like it.

            Regards

@Pihkal: I've just installed the ROM you're talking about. I'll test it these days and let you know.

              Thanx for the advice

Pihkal, thank you, I have migrated from Neomode 1.9a to this combo Neomode 3.1 rom + d33 kernel (4.1 SD kernel) as you recommended, and I am happy (almost). This is first time when my cx-919 (T probably) runs without screen flashes or flickerings at 1.6 Ghz and Antutu score is 19500 (!) (it was 16500 with Neomode 1.9a at 1.4Ghz with his 720p kernel) so I'm very impressed. And Gotham XBMC runs pretty well indeed.

Though, I noticed one serious issue - the wireless speed is only 2-3 Mbps and it seems unstable (it was 15 Mbps with Neomode 1.9a). I tried different kernels (d33 and neomode) with no avail, wifi is still bad. So, for now I have to use ethernet connection which gives stable 15Mbps as expected. If you know how to resolve this issue, please advise.

Many thanks to Neomode and d33 for their excellent work!

Update: I resolved the wifi issue simply by adjusting the cx-919 antenna. When it was perpendicular to the stick, wifi speed was awful 2-3 Mbps. I rotated the antenna by 90 degrees to put it along the stick, and wifi speed is now normal 15 Mbps. Great!
