Please Help - advice needed rooting and best ROM for XBMC 1080p

Thanks for pointing me in the correct location and the guide. I have used RKAndroid tool and was flashing all the *.img, parameter and RK3188Loader(L)_V1.24.bin, files one by one but it keeps failing on the system.img other ones were okay....

the device is semi bricked at the moment due to all flashing going ahead but the system.img failing. please help / advice remembering i am new to flashing roms. thanks.

I have managed to reflash it and it worked about the third time. It seems to be working now. I will test it out and also test xbmc and report back thanks!

I have been searching for one custom rom that will work for 1 month now no success on mine...i have the same board only difference is K-RK3188 V 4.3 on mine..as the one in this thread is K-RK3188 V 4.2
.......would there be any difference.??pls help...mine is without bluetooth... Thanks...
