Hi i didn't find any topic regarding it, so i'll ask:

i have an MK940 and when it plays videos (not only HD) looks like the hardware is not good enough, but i know that it's not true.

can i use custom roms from 808's or 809's or not?
what is the difference?

Hi your device is a RK3066 not a RK3188 so you need to look in the RK3066 threads.This rom will probably work on your device http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...inless-ROM-1-7 or this http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...nless-1-7a-ROM but make sure the stock rom is available for you device so you can always go back to stock if things don't work out

it works, it's better, but the video still isn't smooth enough, as it should be.
Any other option? I'm really a newbie here, so i'll ask a question:
will (theoretically) any rom for a rk3066 work on my divice? is the chip name the only thing i should look when flashing?
