Opening Nextbook 7 Premium

I bought a non-functioning nextbook premium 7 on **** for very cheap iwith the hope that i could repair it. does anyone have any advice on how to open the device, it seems as the dc input is the problem. Any advice would be appreciated.

I bought a non-functioning nextbook premium 7 on **** for very cheap iwith the hope that i could repair it. does anyone have any advice on how to open the device, it seems as the dc input is the problem. Any advice would be appreciated.

I opened mine by starting at the opposite end of the buttons, I ran my thumbnail (or use a butter knife - nothing sharp), to start it opening. There are plastic catches all the way around. once I got it started I worked on the corners then just pulled the cover off. By the way when you put the cover back on don't forget the power switch (I did) it fits into a groove in the main body. Then go around all edges with your fingers and a moderate amout of pressure to snap it back in place. You can't tell I was ever inside. I don't remember much about the inside sorry.
