[Q] Custom ROM development invalid package

Hi there!

I've got some questions for y'all.

I have the Minix NEO X7 and i'm looking to make some changes to the stock rom.

I have dowloaded and installed Cygwin and integrated the Android Kitchen mentioned on XDA.

Then, just to test, I tried to set up the working folder in the kitchen and rebuild the ROM (WITHOUT making changes to any files) , I did sign the app's but when I wanted to install it it gave me : "not a valid update package".

So far I can not find a reason why...

I'm possibly making a noob mistake and I hope y'all can help me

Solved it using CWM and toggeling signature verification
