Xposed Framework - Share your experiences

    Howdy,

Has anyone had any luck with Xposed Framework on the X7?

If so which ROM? And what useful modules do you use?

It's on my list to test it out (even just to add a clear all button in the recent app view in Quickshot V2!!)
I use Gravity Box on my phone and it is just awesome!

I don't have any boxes to try it on, but I know it will run on probably any tablet and there are tons of modules available regardless of the ROM you are using...

i always use this framework ^^
      annnnnnnddd i love it.

i use it because of the app "greenify"
with the framework the app "greenify" has some special features.
so, 1 thumb up for the app "greenify" ^^

also the module "bootmanager" or something like that (i dont know the exact name) is very nice.
its a manager to manage all your apps which you want to start from the beginning,so a "autostartmanager" for free ^^

the framework DOES work with any rom here in the forum, ive tested all of them ^^
but its important that your rom is rooted !!
so -> give it a try

I use it, and found out about it at this forum, for whatever reason i was never bothered to try it out, i missed a lot i tell you that.

        I reckon, must-have modules are:
        1. Gravity Box - All-rounder, the best for modifying the ROM, there are both KK and JB versions
        2. BootManager - self-explaining
        3. Xposed GEL Settings - a must if you use the Google Now Launcher, allows you to edit nearly anything and it keeps on evolving
        4. App Settings - very useful if you want a certain app at certain DPI
        5. Xposed Additions - It will give you a Keyboard Remapping tool (might work on air mouses as well)

where as all my phones have Greenify, which is a life saver, but it has no use on the Boxes

greenify is for those who want to kill apps from running in background forever.
          thats what i know ^^
so the ram is not full of crap.
          am i wrong?
so its indeed helpful to install greenify on the box.
when iam wrong -> tell me,iam not angry about

Actually, greenify is an app that analyzes and hibernate apps...though most of the work is done while the system is at sleep. What it does is, it creates a list with apps that you dont want to give permissions to wake the device up during sleep without your attention, long story short, it saves the battery while it sleeps

we do not have a battery and we rarely care what the device does when it is at sleep. Greenify is an amazing app, but it is meant to save battery by not letting them wake the phone up.

                ok,good to know.
iam a little bit confused oO
                --->>
Greenify help you identify and put the misbehaving apps into hibernation when you are not using them, to stop them from lagging your device and leeching the battery, in an unique way! They can do nothing without explicit launch by you or other apps, while still preserving full functionality when running in foreground, similar to iOS apps!
in my opinion greenify stops and kills all the apps after i closing them,so no app is running in the background and thats the reason why we save more juice of our battery because not all the apps are running and working in background.
                am i right?
soooooo ->> apps are killed in background, ram is more free, less lags ->>>
