OK here you go. This is the most recent 1.4GHZ stock rom for the CX 919II model CYX_809III_RK3188 V2_1 20140208 only ; This is 4.2.2 rom dated 24/04/14

The best way of knowing what firmware and kernel to use is to pry open you'r cx-919 and get the information printed on the mainboard.
It will say something like CYX_809III_RK3188 V2_1 20140208
Agan this firware is for the model listed below and above.
If using on a Sony tv you may need to run at 520p.
Other brand TV sets should work at 720p 1080p

It runs very stable for a stock rom.

Even newer most stable rom I have ever used

This is the most stable rom I have ever used. 1.46ghz had no issues at all. Just do a factory reset after first run and check clock and time zone are correct. Its easy to root. :O) Also un-install and re-install flash player to get it working otherwise you will have flash issues.

Custom Rom

Would love to see a custom rom from this firmware Mk809III Tv Stick

Having bought this TV stick, tried flashing loads of roms but so far this is the only rom with working wifi(not brilliant but working) and Bluetooth. Just a shame it is not KitKat and 1080p.
The videos don't play very smooth, seem to have a slight lag.




Opened up my device and it has printed on board:CYX_80-9III_RK3188 20140208, from what I have read somewhat of a rare board.

Maybe not the right place to request but if one of the developers could create a rom from this I would greatly appreciate it, or if not rip the kernel from the img so the kernel can be tried with some other rooted firmwares.

Buildprop usual fixes
Etc








From what I have researched the Wifi chipset is ESP8089









And the Bluetooth is MT6622
