ONVO MK809IV need help finding working rom

I recently purchased two android sticks to try out for a project i'm working on. Without doing any backup I kind of jumped in head first without really doing any research, but now i've got two android sticks without working WiFi

This one inparticular is an ONVO MK809IV. There is a number written on the board "HTC-T010-V4 2013-12-09" It's original rom started with linux penguins and a boot up screen that read R-BOX From the looks of it, its an RK3188 1.6 Quadcore. In my haste I just started flashing anything and everything on it, which most of the time worked fine except for that pesky WiFi. I've had 720p roms work, 1080p roms work, i'm really trying to overclock the piss out of it to see if I can get some better 2D performance out of it.

I cannot for the life of me find a rom that'll fully work. It has the MT59315A WiFi chipset but have had absolutely no luck in the past few days of non-stop trying.

Any luck helping me find an overclockable rom that'll work with WiFi would be extremely appreciated!

First attempt didn't go so well.

It says "freaktab.com" and "A finless bob rom" then goes haywire. This was using loader_1080p, i tried the 720 one as well with the same issue.

The "Neomode Custom Rom MK802IV Old Wifi Version 3.0 Android 4.4.2 FullHD" worked, but no WiFi. Need to try one of the kernel's listed there. Just wanted to see if I could get the rom to flash. So far so good.

            try these:

            direct link: http://pan.baidu.com/wap/link?uk=121...185460&third=0
another link: http://pan.baidu.com/wap/share/home?...19752&start=20 (search for T010)
            it may be yours...

You got a rom that works you merely need a kernel with the correct drivers.

There is something about that MT59315A WiFi chipset that is ever elusive. I believe its older as my other stick has the AP6210 chipset which I was able to find a rom that works without having to change the kernel out.

It is something you don't see much off.

                    Here a good run down.

Man I am striking out hard tonight. That T010 rom wouldn't flash using the batch tool, it would get to 99% on downloading the firmware and it'd error out (big red message), so I had to extract it and use the RK Develop Tool and it took, but then hung on the penguin screen.

you should send an email to the seller asking for the android image.

Great idea! I just sent them a note via Amazon.

I got a response from the seller on Amazon, and they sent me links to the rom! Unfortunately I accidentally inquired about the OTHER stick I had purchased. So I just sent another email back. It's looking good that i'll have this one up and running shortly.

once done, i suggest to re-upload the rom on mega or similar and post here the link, to allow people to "rest" the device.
