I also have a UT2 and this has happened to me twice.
I followed this video for a tablet and it worked both times.
Use care when you open the box,the power switch may come out of its saddle. Mine came out the first time and the switch fell apart, it was no fun to put back together. I cant remember which of the two chips it was but if you try them both it should work. When you hit the rite pins the green lite will come on then flash again.
    Good luck

Mine is the 32GB one with Toshiba Nand instead of the Hynix. Is your the same?

I did try the short on pins 8-9 but got nothing. Maybe 7-8 might work?

Yes 32GB, not sure about the Toshiba or Hynix, how do you tell?
And if 8-9 did not work try 7-8.
You did this with the box powered up with rk batchtool open?

The name is on the chips. I tried the other pins and it is now detected in usb. Will try a reflashed tonight when I get home.

Thanks for your help. Will let you know how it goes
