    Browser Freezes

Each time my wife uses her browser, and sets the tab down for any period, the device has to be shut completely down before the web will respond.

Can anyone out there offer any help with this?

    Thanks

Will that cause the tab to loose her stuff on it?

Just go into settings/applications and uninstall Adobe Flash player

This won't make you lose anything

It will only allow me to disable it as it is a built in app and it may make other functions not work.
I no nothing about android devices but when researching this device before I picked it up, I seem to recall seeing a fix for this problem.

Try Opera Mobile browser, the mobile verison, not mini.

It could be a wifi problem as others have reported.

Can you turn off and on the wifi after the device wakes?
(Wifi keep alive, airplane mode apps might help)

Is the browser really freezing i.e. can you exit the browser and reload it, or is the tablet itself freezing?
hit the back button to exit or settings-windows-close windows to exit the browser.
Try the home button to switch between running programs (parallel processing) short press for home screen, long press to switch between programs.
              -

Try a task killer, too many apps running will seriously bog down these devices.

It could even be your router timing out on the connection somehow.

If it is flash, try to update it/or different version.

              Imho not enough data
