    Re: CWR & CM9-AOKP compatibility.zip

Got this working first time. As soon as I installed it and booted, the "update me" app found a new update to download -- a September 13 version. Repeated the steps with the new file, across 2 reboots (forgot to reflash gapps and su binary the first time) and so far all is well.

How exactly did you do this with CM9 when the compatibility files link is broken?

Odd, I have them in an exported docs zip... They were there yesterday... I exported all 270MB of them, including 2 "PMID_702c_CM9-AOKP_BOOT* files.

I did notice that the wireless is a little weird on the 9/13 Allwinner ROM. It tends to go away permanently. Not a good thing. Seemed a little faster than the stock ROM. But there is only so much that can be done with the hardware as it is...

Oh, how I disagree-go see my other thread where I discovered the "Pimp my ROM" tweak... :-)

Thank you. I will be keeping an eye out for this. It will be very helpful with all of the different files on Google Docs and the missing(?) compatibility files.

Hi. I tried to flash CM9 with your 702c compatibility zip on a no name chinese OEM A13 tablet. I know you have very clearly mentioned that it is for PMID 702c ONLY but I thought what the heck, some functions may not work at the most and I can always revert back to factory firmware through livesuit.

But that was not to happen. after flashing CM9 and comp zip, the touchscreen (ft5x) acted weird. I can scroll in one axis but the other one is sort of inverted e.g. if I touch the onscreen menu button, the clock is touched. Also the hardware touch buttons also dont work.

Now even after flashing my factory firmware, the touchscreen is acting the same. Read a post on this forum that this has something to do with eeprom of touchscreen and a way for recovering ft5x for A10, but can't find suitable ft5x_ts.ko despite trying various roms.

I can't see any firmware in vendor folder in this comp zip that could have altered the eeprom. I was thinking if there was any firmware, i could just replace the bin file in comp zip and reflash to put correct firmware back.

Can you please help me out on this? I hope I am not asking for too much.

you can try this somebody has no touchscreen anymore even with flashing the stockrom.
he took a usb mouse and in settings he did screencalibration. and the problem was solved .his touchscreen works perfect again. even after a reflash.

i think with the mouse or maybe it was automatically done when you click on calibration

Sorry I didn't expect you to reply this quick and edited my last post. The tablet is ICS and no there is no calibration setting. Will check the link and report back.

                              Thanks
