    AMLogic recall?

In the Minix forum, Minix reported a recall on the s802s (http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...s-and-bad-news). Does anyone know how this affects the S89s? I was expecting a standard edition to ship (Geekbuying via Amazon) around this time, but now I don't know if I should cancel my order and wait, or just see how things go?

I'm follow the threads here at the board the last 3-4 weeks really intensive and I don't know what/how I have to think about the information from minix, because only some (maybe <10) devices seams to have problems (~ 5/5 heat/HDMI) but the most most not...
AND the s802H is not the first bulk of the s802

On 27 March 2014, this is what MINIX said:

as AMLogic firmware is still under beta stage, lots of bugs to be fixed.
Plus the 1st batch of chips got a hardware bug that couldn't do thermal control (can't do throttling when overheated) and the problem just got fixed this week. Fixed chips are not ready for at least 2-3 weeks. So what are they actually selling??
By the way, passthrough is not OK, it's still PCM with Sci-Fi of the amp. simulated to 5.1.
And I saw this thread dated 21/05/2014:

I use to leave my box up the whole night. Hopefully this wont happen to me.

But maybe this is just an isolated case and Minix is just trying put down tronsmart as usual.
