What you pref, RK, Amlogic ...?

Hi friends!


I'm thinking buy some TV player, for FullHD since NAS ( connect the NAS to USB to the TV player)


But i'm not sure what device will works better


I can see that RK 3188 stay in a lot of device but all us know that this CPU have a problem with vsync and this is not very easy to fix in all models.


And now i can see other models that can " Reproduce 4k " ! (Amlogic S802)


The difference of price is not very long :

Hmm.. i prefer amlogic
But the s802 is still.. in baby shoes/buggy ( looking at the amlogic-section/feedback)
-its best to read that section.. so you know what bugs the M8 units

I have now a pipo m9 this use the RK 3188, i usually use this tablet of MediaCenter and i can see lags , when i play files with strong bitrate ( FullHD mkv +12Mb bitrate, AC3) I'm scared that this happend with the TV Box ...


Can some said me, who is the best Tv box considered?

Now i have a TV with resolution FullHD, i think that never i going to play 4K or more of FullHD ( very expensive tv ! hahahah ) i only need that my 20TB of films going fluid and without lags

RK 3288 can be better than 3188 or amlogic s802 ?

Looking at the benchmarks.. Rk3288 could definitely beat.. rk3188&amlogic s802
But benchmark scores dont tell.. If the unit is bug free or user friendly
-benchmarks can also be falsely high

Mmmm ok...
Them now is not the best moment for choose one TV Box.
RK3188 don't have the power for FullHD mkv h.264
Amlogic have the power but now is the "baby" and need works in roms and kernels.
And RK3288 have xtreme power but for the moment we can't buy it.
