Using an extension cable for the wireless antenna on the X7 (Pigtail)

I recently relocated my X7 and the wireless is just not what it used to be.

Has anyone tried to use one of these (or similar) http://www.amazon.com/HDE-Durable-Re...+antenna+cable
with their X7's antenna?

It should work in theory?
Am I looking at the right kind of cable in that Amazon link?

You definitely understand the connectors, all fine there.

3 meters however is i think too much. Anything above 2 meters will give you a weak signal unless your antenna will be directional (not omni). I honestly doubt that the X7 can handle 3 meters.

1. buy a new antenna,a strong one oO

be aware that u have to choose the RIGHT connection between the antenna and the cable,there a different ypes (n-type and so on),u have to choose the right one ;D

the more powerful the antenna the best signal ull get.

2. buy your cable but it would be better if you would buy a cable with max length of 1,5m
then install this app on your minix.

then put ur antenna in the right position and voila maybe you will get a better signal and can place your antenna more far away from your minix
