Has anyone noticed if the downloads app bug exists on the stock version? Its worth knowing to rule out any of my changes.

In TWRP press reboot -> system
Otherwise try pressing the reset button with a paperclip while you are in TWRP.

Problem getting into Reboot to Flash Mode

This will be the 4th. rom I'm putting on my M9 Pro, the last was 2.71 Kit Kat. Previously after hitting Esc + Reset the tablet would intoan animated Android figure for flashing. No all it does is go into the TRWP boot utility. Am I supposed to flash from that utility? I'm not really familiar with TRWP at all. I've been trying to Flash 3.0 and I can't get Windows to to even find my tablet. My Win7 tablet is the only machine I have ever had luck flashing the tablet with, my Desktops never recognized my tablet, but now my laptop is unable to work using either Reboot to Flash Tools.
I had to order a new Usb to Micro cable, misplaced my Pipo cable. This new cable seems fine though.
I tried both Host/Usb and just the Usb slot on the tablet, nothing seems to get the Found Rockchip Device banner.
    Thanks,
    Phil

Sorry Kenneth, i read your post wrong. I thought you mean't you were going to take out the battery from the m8hd you had! Now I realise you simply meant you would buy a new battery. Good luck, i still think it is hardly worth the bother, but its your tablet!

I think long pressing the standard location tile on and off sets the GPS on and off. There should be no reason to install other progams to do this. Try Sygic with the location off and it says clearly there is no GPS. So use this as a main switch for GPS and when ON you can choose different settings the system settings dialog.

Re: Pipo M9 Pro RileyROM 3.0

    Hello,

I'm running Riley 2.7.2,and I'm very happy with it. Does it worth moving to 3.0?

Can someone summarize the differences between these two ROMs? Pros and cons?

    Thanks in advance,

    Joseba

I'll be taking that as you've tried them all. Try the 407 oc kernels, 1704's never did liked me. 1608 failed at first boot, after 2 or 3 reboots... everything's working fine, game and stress tested.
-Power drain is at best minimum at normal use, except for gaming.
    -wifi is stable
    -smoothens the UI performance
    -almost lag free
-overall performance is the best experience of all the kernels I've used

Somehow, the "unfortunately" problems annoyance occurred when I sync off, tablet went laggy too. I think its a fw problem.

BTW, anybody here knows how to uninstall/remove TGB engine performance which I installed thru CWM?

Kernel 407, nice 1 sir cshock!

Using this, 1608 is stable with my unit, just hits the spot. It's smooth enough... Tired of testing and gonna stay with this kernel.

Anybody here using the 406 kernel?
