Stupid question, but here's hoping that the X8(+h) will be receiving the same support from Bob and all other notable Devs as the X7 and S89 have previously. I've no doubt they will, but basically my Vegas going back due to dead Hdmi port and this will influence my decision to jump straight in and get an X8 (like I stupidly did with the Vega S89, as I knew Bob had got one!) Although as an X7 owner and knowing the quality of Minix products, doubled up with warranty that they honour, I am less hesitant in making that decision, even though I've had that negative experience already with the S802...
This is obviously a different board though from a different manufacturer, and so there's no reason it will have the same HDMI port issue ... Right??!!!! Lol and the thermal throttling/heat issues ... Right??!!.... Lol
Ease my mind you clever bastards you!
- I need someone (Bob, wasser, quickshot crew, D33 etc) to validate the extra expense of this box vs others...
Should I wait or not??!! (I don't want to!!)
