spdif passtrough on amlogic s802

Hi

i am looking for a tv box and i can not decide between the amlogic s802 or s802-h because of the sound issue, i read a lot of theards and didn't got the answer.
i want to connect the tv box to the tv via hdmi and to a sound bar via spdif.
I will play all the videos on xbmc - does the xbmc will do the spdif passttrough so i will not
need to buy the s802-h model and the s802 will be enough for me?

XBMC do spdif pass-trough... this is an 'older' review, so maybe some little issues already fixed with newer FW and/or XBMC...

-H does also hardware acceleration what means, that the SoC/CPU is also able to decode / downsize DD/DTS at a 'special' SoC/CPU-part to stereo (instead of software decoding at 'generally' SoC/CPU-part) BUT the software (e.g. MX player or XBMC) have to know how to use it...

That's up to you!
I would prefer the -H (only to be open to what ever comes to me) BUT if you only use XBMC AND pass-trough you don't need -H because your A/V receiver will do the job...
(And XBMC, if you need it sometimes maybe at another TV or so on, also do downsize to stereo at s802 via software...)
