    Got my box!

    My M8 Tomato just arrived

    Special thanks to Eric from Geekbuying as he sent it DHL. I know that costs a lot from China. So make sure to thank Eric for donating a box to me FAST.

    Now first impressions......
    The 5/12 ROM this came with is slow as ass! I am not kidding. Since I have the Tronsmart S89 it is blowing away this box in my opinion. Well just in the 20 minutes playing with it. I have not messed with XBMC yet either. Just using it I can tell the difference.

    This thing has the capability hardware wise but it's ROM really needs some help!
    I will see what I can do and once the kernel guys get going, things should get better.

    Great News

    Thats exactly How I felt First but now with Lifeforce Firmware its quite fast and stable + Oman's XBMC... I'm quite happy ...

    We all believe in your Knowledge and experience will take this box to a different Level Thats for sure

    P.s some guys were wondering about red Standby LED....Although there is a place next to blue to install We have no Red LED Sorry ...

      Bummer not having a OTG port either
      This makes development harder to move files to the box for simple patching with zips etc.
      Now quick ADB either.... Yes I know about ADB over wifi but after flashing a new ROM you have to go through all that....

      I guess I will be wearing out the sdcard slot!

        I don't know these things but there is a GND, 3.3V, Tx and Rx available for serial console port if that helps...

            the colorful launcher is slow as hell(so laggy) even on 1296mhz minimum but once you get rid of that homescreen it runs normal. It does run pretty cool to the touch even at that minimum.
