    Hi,
well, the full screen cannot be pressed if the system bar is hidden... or do you mean that it should never auto hide, ie be always present?
anyhow, its beyond my ability to do anything about that.

      Tronsmart S89:
Browser -- Plays full screen and in decent quality -- probably not HD, but acceptable.
Chrome Beta -- Plays full screen and in decent quality -- probably not HD and some frame skipping.
Firefox Beta (using Phony to spoof a desktop browser and Flash 11.1 installed) -- Video does not load at all.
Dolphin (UA switched to desktop) -- Video loads but plays extremely choppy.

      Fire TV:
Firefox Beta (with Flash 11.1 installed and Phony set to desktop browser) -- HD quality, with some slight frame skips.
Hi, and thanks for all the testing... very good to have so many results.
For me, browser is barely viewable - similar quality to what I would get if I was to watch a pirated stream online... and since I pay tennistv.com a lot of money for on demand tennis in HD, that's what i want

I'm curios about the fire TV, I wonder how they made it work better... but you say some slight frame skips. Is it constant or occasional. I am toying with the idea of returning my tronsmart and getting a firetv but am a bit daunted by the hoops one has to jump through to do things... the lack of google play store is really infuriating to me.

      HDMI CABLE on Nexus 10
This is way better than any alternative I have managed to test... even better than chromecast from my desktop pc to the tv. The N10 output does not fill the TV screen unfortunately, about 80%, but it is very sharp and smooth, no ghosting, actually I can count the strings on the net on the wide shot from the back of the court.

So I guess I will have to be happy with either Chromecast or N10 with a 5m micro HDMI cable... a bit of a pity since tennistv was a major reason for upgrading from cs918 to s89...

Thanks again for all the help guys,
      Mark.

The Fire TV is a great device, BUT Amazon has really hobbled it with their "special" version of Android. It's a pain to jump through hoops to customize it.

It's got some serious horsepower, though. It's incredibly responsive, like it knows what button you pushed before you pushed it and already went there.

I wouldn't get a Fire just to play the Flash version of the tennis videos, though. The skips are occasional, but Flash on the device is pretty buggy. I've had Firefox Beta crash for no apparent reason with some other Flash sites.

Sounds like your Nexus and HDMI setup is probably best for that.

Not the system bar of the flash player. I'm talking about the system/status/menu bar of the whole rom. Don't hide it. Most rom autohide it by default. Go setting - Display and you will find that option.

I personally have never heard of this status bar issue (not saying it doesn't exist). I will say that I have no problems with flash in dolphin browser (with jetpack) on kitkat with any droid device. Many status and navbar hiding apps I've tried require root and crop your system resolution to hide the bars. Eg: 1920x1080 to 1920x996 (not sure about exact dimesnsions). On the s89 its a built in feature that doesn't crop but simply hides the bars. One solution to try is not hiding the status and nav bar and trying apps like hidebar (which crop) or a better solution would be to try wondershare player which supports hw accel and has a built in browser that auto opens its player when selecting a stream. I tend not to watch streams on browsers and use xbmc but this seems like a possible fix for you.

              Hi,
Yeah, I would watch on xbmc except there is no way I know of to get that streaming on xbmc... also I pay for it... its not like the "other" stuff I see on xbmc

yeah, and added to that is I live in the UK, so there would be additional hoops to jump through, I dont even know if amazon prime would work on fireTV in the UK as it seems the device assumes you are in the usa.
