CS918 Quad core android box not recognising USB

    CS918 Quad core android box not recognising USB

    Hi,
    Can anyone help? I just got a CS918 quad core android box - it doesn't recognise my Maxtor USB hard drive and there is no message when I add or remove it. Is there a technique for fixing this?

    Well...
    Is your external hd.. external powered?

    Because....the cs918 has low powered usb ports (not enough to power a big hd )

    Could you give more info.. like what maxtor model you have and size..

      Hi thanks for your reply,
      Its a maxtor basic portable storage 9NX2A2-500 80G and it is not powered. Are there any usbs that work well? thanks

        I couldn't find any helpful information about the '9NX2A2-500 80G' but try with an active / powered USB-Hub ...
