Flixster on newest wasser rom incompatible

I have a few movies of the UltraViolet variety. I know that they worked well using the stock firmware from Minix rom. Sadly the latest wasser kitkat rom has broken it. Does anyone know of a fix.

    Here is what happens,
Flixster the app loads and logs in seemingly ok
My movies show up and I can click on them
When I try to watch them they crash during the beginning stages of initialization.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

I don't have any answer to this, but have a similar issue with my Tronsmart S89-H.
I was able to start a UV film with the first stock rom I had... Then go to Finless ROM... wasn't working anymore.
Installed last stock rom, wasn't working too.
Switch to last Leolas... still not working.
    Don't know why.

Updated ROM to Leolas release 1.2.0, but still same issue with Flixster... Pretty curious.

got an answer from flixster support which said... no support on rooted devices.
I tried to hide root with a app, but still no luck.
        If someone knows a tip...

Flixster Digital Copy App not working on any ROM

I ask tronsmart to give me their last non-rooted stock ROM (107k4) for testing purpose.
Install it, then "Flixster Digital Copy" app... Log in to the app, launch a movie and got same error as usual.
I saw that Bob said that he had to remove hw.nophone=false from build.prop to get the "Bell TV" app to work.
I'll try now with his latest release.

In case of Bob would see this thread, we're talking about this app:

Last status with Finless ROM 2.1 on my Tronsmart Vega S89-H.
The error during the initialisation phase is in almost all cases gone...
Film is loading and I'm hearing it... BUT screen stays black.

I presuming that the issue is now the HDMI stuff. So I've installed "hdmi virtual switch" but didn't do the magic, unfortunatelly.

Would really love to be able to see my ultraviolet films on TV, somedays...
