    NEW - Minix X8-H Stock ROM 05/29 in ZIP format

    OK folks, Here is the Minix X8-H 05/29 release stock ROM in ZIP update format.
    That is NO FLASH TOOL needed to flash a complete ROM!
    It has been converted to ZIP format you can update from SDcard.
    This is completely STOCK. No root or anything.

    You Windows 8.1 folks that cant get drivers install should now be happy!

    I kind of hate the flash tool anyway and should really only be used to unbrick!

            When I click on the "System Update" icon on NEO X8-H it goes to "Online Update"..when I click on this I get this error message: "Check failed! Check your OTA Servier Argent".

            Why won't this feature update automatically to latest offical ROM update?

            My current build is KOT49H.20140529 test keys. Kernal version 3.10.33

              I don't really know if this will work, because I don't know that there exist a server which I think is need for this function...
              I think to download and install manually will be the way also at future (but who knows... minix maybe )...

              BTW: I never use automatic update at any system...

                Minix manages the OTA server. Possibly it is not ready yet? I do not know. Minix needs to answer that question.

                Also be aware that if you flash a custom ROM, do not expect OTA to work EVER!

                OTA is for users on the stock ROM period. That is the only way OTA can be reliable.
                OTA has to know:
                1) What the device is. In this case a NEO-X8 or NEO X8-H. If your on a custom ROM that changes the Device ID (e.g. like a Nexus 10) then Minix wont know what you have as they do not make that device!
                2) Your current version your box is on. It uses this to determine if a newer version is available. Custom ROMs usually change this too and Minix wont recognize that version.

                Finally even if build.prop was used from the stock ROM on a custom ROM, the OTA update may fail (possibly leaving you bricked) due to rooting, removed APPs, modified system files, etc! This is why custom ROMs change this so that wont happen.

                So if you want OTA you have to stay on a stock ROM.
