    Thanks!

    I will try it out when I get mine this week.

    I know you do this by habit but this is an 8GB device, probably should stop at 4GB parameter. Is there an option for 1.5, or 3GB?

      I am amazed at how pared down this thing is to get it so cheap. Not only the RK3188T but only one USB and OTG, no PiPO boot animation, not much effort on the menu... to be honest, it looks a lot like my MK808B at the same price. Still super glad I got it.

      It has the HDMI passthrough that everyone on here gets hung up on. Not sure if it works, can't test it so don't ask.

      I'll be dumping the stock images tomorrow. Once I do I'll test your ROM.

          Thanks! Testing... Fluidity better than the original. Good performance in pipo X2. What's app to transmit screen of the phone to tv? Thanks.

            I've tested this ROM and i still get strutter playing 1080p & 720p both locally and on streaming. Besides that, rom is much faster than stock one and the additions are superb. Installation is pretty easy and the instructions are good also.

            Tested on a PiPO X2 (Known as X1 Beta) 1.4ghz rk3188t 1gb RAM 8gb ROM

              There is a kernel patch that would likely fix your stutter problem.

              Perhaps one of the regular TV stick developers could patch it for you.

              I'm normally a tablet developer, and rarely do TV sticks...but since I'm the Pipo guy...I did this one.

              I'll see if one of them can fix this for you.

                  Found this post with pictures and some information.

                  From an X1. My X2 has build number 1.2. I think the only difference is the marking on the outside and the build.prop change.

                  On a side note, I was able to dump all of the information from the factory ROM as a backup so I can begin testing stuff on this. I installed Netflix 3 and it runs great, especially in 720p, so I can use profiles now!!! I had been using 2.4 modified to 16x for more clarity, but that version doesn't support profiles. Hopefully I can run it in 1080p with the rileyrom.

                    Don't know if this will solve your problems, but there isn't harm in trying.
                    I patch the kernel to enable vsync during video play back, hoping that fixes your problem. And patched again to do some OC.

                    No guaranties.
                    kernel vsync
                    OC kernel's
                    if [ $up.post.type = $type.two.lazy.to_use_google ] || [ $up.post.type = $type.silly_question ];
                    then mv $user.contact.up.post /.trash; set response($response.type = ignore);
                    $user.up.post.ignore_in_future = true; fi;

                      Do the OC kernels have the VSync Patch?

                          Hello friend,

                          I tried all the kernels you have posted, subtitles are working ok now, but i still have heavy struttering on 1080p and some in 720p (When using the FHD output). Tried Archos player, XBMC, stock android library player and a player from the manufacturer. Youtube videos strutter too. Did not see significant strutter while using archos player when in HD output in both 1080p and 720p with maximum OC kernel

                          Tested on a X2 with X2 on the case, rk3188t 1gb RAM 8gb ROM,

                          I hope that my feedback is helpful

                            Hello Friend. I do not understand what's wrong when I ask why your ROM, I have not worked button HOUSES. Thank you true at least for that because before watching movies was not possible. For now well except 1080. Thanks
