    Acemax and ENY - STOP IT!

    Both you China houses STOP IT!
    It won't do you any good to continue this horse crap!
    It will only HURT YOU for friendly development!


    Guys, both these dev houses are putting BULLSHIT check files in the ROMs to keep from porting things!

    Remember when I tried to port my 1.5 ROM to the EM8 using the Acemax kernel?
    2nd boot was a blank screen right? I figured it out by finding 2 files Acemax put in to the ROM that was required by the kernel and boot.

    Now working on the 5/30 ROM and trying to port the Minix ROM the same SHIT!
    ENY has put in file checks! I spent most the day trying to figure out what the hell was going on porting only to find the same CRAP!

    STOP IT!

    Or I will NOT continue to develop on your platforms and you can kiss sales GOODBYE! I am serious!

    P.S. I am pretty pissed off about this for a 2nd time as they changed the files. Also I HATE developing on this box because of no OTG port! I am about ready to say SCREW this box and move on!

    You know what.... screw this box!

    I got the Minix ROM to boot with the minix kernel but no audio. Thus we need the EM8 kernel.

    When I used the latest 5/30 kernel even trying different boot ramdisk's I get it to boot but with a blank screen. FILE CHECKS!!!! STUPID FILE CHECKS!!!! It's protection!

    This is frustrating and to be honest, I think I am kissing this POS box goodbye. It's not fun to develop on and the BS that is going on with it. I have unplugged it and tossed it in the pile of POS TV boxes that are not worth the time!

    I know it is cheaper than the Beelink stuff but if they are going to continue to pull bullcrap like this.... KISS MY ASS GOODBYE!

    P.S. Sorry guys but when your working hard to make things work TO HELP PEOPLE, ONLY to find BS, it's just not fun!
    Maybe I will look at this another day but for now, I have to move on...... In my opinion this box is a stripped down POS and is not worth anyone's time!

      I'm really sorry at/for the people they already have this box, but I can understand if you will not try anymore to port/dev something for this device... and I also, as you, don't understand, why companies do BS like this, but as you wrote "you can kiss sales GOODBYE" and it is at us to tell everybody about this BS and avoid not to buy this BS

              I think I found it (the hidden files) but got so mad I just unplugged the damn thing. It's in the pile of crap boxes right now until I feel like looking at it again

              Again the biggest issue for me is no OTG and ADB. I have to freakin flash every mod I want to test rather than just push it over ADB. ROYAL SLOW PAIN IN THE ASS!

              AND don't anyone tell me to use ADB over Wifi.... Some changes I make require an erase to test properly. Takes WAY TOO LONG to setup for ADB over wifi! I would rather flash via SDcard than that mess...

              Personally the debate about which box is better is OVER.... I know which is and it aint this POS.

                  Well that's bad news, I haven't receive my box yet that I already regret buying it...if I knew that one week before I would have bought the tronsmart... Hope they listen, I guess geekbuying will relay the info.

                    Thats Another Point Its almost impossible to get in touch with these people Hopefully Eric From Geekbuying Can Help Us to escalate this matter to the Eny or Acemax and ask for The Kernel Source or to stop this BS

                              ENY is one of the crappiest TV Box companies.
                              They refuse to release updated roms for their Quad-Core Rockchip Boxes that make their boxes completely unusable. Flickering, Freezes, Broken wifi, boot issues etc.
                              They also refuse to release Android KitKat for Rockchip boxes and tell people to buy their shit AMLogic boxes instead because that runs KitKat. Now they are trying their crap with the AMLogic boxes.
                              There are zero support from them.
                              Avoid them at all costs
