    Deactivate Remote Control

    Hi,

does someone here know how to deactive the remote controll via the console/terminal?
i know that you can do it using the settings app, but i dont have this app installed anymore (and dont want to have it).

i also found out that there is a config file located here 'system/etc/remote.conf' but i cant figure out how to disable the whole IR.

there is alos a bin file in 'system/bin/remotecfg' but this only prints out the config file.

    thanks

Just wondering why do you want to disable IR remote if you don't mind

because i use a webserver to remote control my device and dont want to have the IR activated.

ok fyi i just removed all key-mappings, which should do the trick.
but im not quite happy with this because the device still receives the signal but at least it doenst react anymore

and the bigger problem is, it reacts on boot-up (recovery menu)
