PiPO X2 problem with 1080p and 720p video play

Hi guys,

I just recieved a PiPO X2 from aliexpress. The device comes with 1gb RAM and RK3188t 1.4ghz processor. The device runs smoothly, games work well, but youtube video, 1080p and 720p video stream runs really bad.

Does anyone have problems with this device like i do? Couldn't even run 720p at viewable rates in XBMC stored both in NAND and TF 32gb card, the subtitles are out of sync also.

I tried archos video player, MX player, VLC player, XBMC, the stock player to no avail.Tried all of thatin stock ROM and also in Riley's 1.1 ROM that i have found in another thread in the forums.

It has been said that there's a kernel fix for that, but i could not find it at all.

Please, if anyone knows a fix or recommendation of apps for it, i would be really greatful! Thanks!

It worked for me. Folow the istructions on how to install the Neomode kitkat from the mk809iii with the right kernel and parameters. Its very fluid. Everything works.
