Gamepad Support

Hi Everyone,

Just wanting to know if anyone has had any success getting gamepad's to work with this box?

Ive tried an official ps3 controller with the sixaxis app but it errors out saying that the firmware lacks support. Ive also tried a wired Xbox 360 controller which will not sync with the box.

Im basically trying to get an idea of what works and what doesnt.

So has anyone actually gotten a gamepad to connect and play with this box?

If so, how was the experience? Did you need to use any specific apps?

I don't have a Amlogic m8, but generally gamepad support is kernel dependant. For XBOx you need a xpad.ko module and for ps3 a hid-ps3 module in kernel. With the generic amlogic m8 source I guess some developer here could compile a module for sure.

Tronsmart send me a new 2.4Ghz wireless game controller which design for android tv box, i play with it recently, and find it is really good for those amlogic device.

My Ouya controller works quite well over Bluetooth, better than on Ouya. Gimme 5 mins and I`ll test my Wireless XBox 360 controller. Often though, its down to the games themselves.

Nope, wireless Xboc controller dosnt sync. Shame, it worked with the MX2 I had.
