Midnight MX2 - Matricom vs "Others"

I want to buy one of these devices, mainly to watch UK TV and movies in general.

There is quite a price difference in the UK between the Matricom box and "others", e.g. Media Revolution, Droibox.

Is there any difference in these products ? PLEASE - I am not a big techie !!!

No different whatsoever. Matricom will try to tell you everyone else is a clone of their box when in fact they buy from the same company everyone else does - and relabel them.

The actual device is an AMLOGIC MX 8726, no matter who you buy it from.

but i think there may be different pcb not in terms of ist matricom or not but in terms of new pcb old pcb i think there were 2 versions 2.21 and 2.22 its best to open up the box and looking at the pcb but be very careful not to brake the wifi cable

it does not show pcb info although you can ask the seller like i did when i was trying to avid the mk908 v3

I've owned both matricom mx2 and the media revolution mbox, really happy with both of them! i've ordered 2 more mbox for the bedrooms! i havent opened the boxes tho as like stated you can break the wifi antenna
