    HDMI state

    Hi, can anybody tell me how to change the hdmi state from 1 to 0 with plugged hdmi cable? Hdmi virtual switch doesn't work. I also tried to modify the file "/sys/devices/virtual/switch/hdmi/state" with root explorer, but had no luck. Even with writing permissions it seems that I can modify the file and save, but it gets immediately overwritten with the right state.

    It's because I want to start a Tv app called “watchever“, but it has restrictions on hdmi plugged devices.

    I'm also interested in this. I have an OUYA and HDMI virtual switch doesn't work on it either, works fine on my mk802IV though. Is this a problem with the HDMI virtual switch app ? ROM? Kernel? Any help would be appreciated.

      I wish you good luck! I didn't find any solution for the hdmi restrictions with vod in my country, so I unfortunately had to buy a device with hdcp support. Now even screen mirroring with my note 3 works!.... but I really miss xbmc
