what process is com.amlogic.mediaboxlauncher?

sorry for a dumb question:
what is the process com.amlogic.mediaboxlauncher for?

top shows that this process takes ~40% of cpu.
after killing it everything (everything i need) seems to be working still ...

The unit..
Comes with two launchers.. one is called MediaBox

On the desktop click on Arrow/status-bar.. to change launchers
-are you using the mediabox version?

--if you really wish
I think.. you can disable the laucher here..
-desktop/setting/adv/more settings/app/(find app, click on it.. disable)
--after making the other one default
