On the 3.0 thread...I posted v3.0.1 yesterday.
It's made from newer 3.0 firmware with the 3.2 kernel and has the Exchange/Email fix added.
I've tested it on my tablet and it's working well.Randy

Actually, 3.0.1 is the best. It has the most recent firmware and most recent kernel combination with the Exchange fixes for email.Randy

So this one is the best one right?

Has anyone tried Evernote with the new Rom, or tried any in-app-camera?
Because using the appcam to photograph notes with Evernote is a pain in the a** right now.
I have to make a random picture first to unfreeze the cam-display (what doesn't always work) and then it sometimes loops in processing pictures.
Outside of apps the camera seems to work fine.
any experience? or could someone might try it out for me?
thanks.

rileyrom 3.2
Dear Mr Riley, I am travelling so not much facilities. I try 3.2 on my M7Pro
to fix my several problems. I have a boot problem swipe to unlock does
not work, but I found that if I boot with USB cableplugged into the right hand
socket the back etc symbols at the bottom of the screen do work and then the tablet eventually
performs as expected.I find this a bit bizarre. I have the usual exchange services stopped working.
GPS which worked a bit in Hong Kong and near to Burma, and even quite well in New Zealand
does not work at all in Spain where I am now.I did install e skeletal GPS.conf.I found that fastergps
only deleted the old gps.conf .
Thanks for all your good efforts, kind regards, John

OK, I had to jog my memory a little.
My suggestion is to download and install v3.0.1. It has a newer ROM update than this one, but contains the kernel from the firmware this ROM was based on. So, it has the latest system, plus the most up-to-date kernel for the M7 Pro.
In 3.0.1, I implemented a fix to the Exchanges services. However, I think Exchange should work on this ROM based on early posts in this thread. I can't explain why you are having those problems...except that it's an older firmware.Randy

Hi,Randy.I just want to know that whether the cifs work on this rom. Although I do't have pipo M7pro, I have a ifive X2. I am using your iFive X2RileyROM 1.6 KitKat now, and I find that there're cifs.ko, md4.ko andnls_utf8.ko in /system/lib/modules/ which is never seen on other kitkat custom roms. So I try to use cifsmanger. But It always crash then reboot. According to previous experience (4.2 jb), the cifs.ko and md4.ko of pipo M7pro can work on ifive X2. So I download your pipo m7pro kitkat roms(3.0.1 3.1 3.2) and extract cifs.ko and md4.ko then use them on ifive rom 1.6, but all still crash then reboot. Could you please check if the cifs work on pipo M7pro? Or on which pipo m7p or m9p kitkat rom can cifs work properly so I can port them to ifive X2? Thanks.

Those modules have to be compiled for the specific kernel SDK's. The developer I received these modules from told me they were compiled and would work on these Pipo kernels, but I've never tested them.
Thanks for the feedback. I will search for some alternative modules to test.
If you happen to find a working set, please share them with me in the meantime.Randy
