Thank you for the update Minix, any idea what time today (specify time zone so I can change it to UK time)?

Thank you Hardware Guru for continuing to look into this, sorry that you seem to be hitting a brick wall. It must be fun trying to figure out what are linux changes from android 4.2.2->4.4 and what are Minix, such as the new mount location for external hard drives (so very few Apps can find it, he he)

Yeah, I saw this morning, unfortunately I'm the lad who let you know that the flash software driver doesn't install on Windows 8.1 x64 and asked for a newer version of the driver that does (as it's a 2012 driver).

I will post a zip ugrade package there today. Seems more people have issues with it.

Can someone describe what files need to be changed to fix the A2 button problem? I'm not using the stock ROM and can't apply the zip to it.

I can extract the zip file an pull the files out of system, if they are there. Just need to know what to look for.

                        Thank You!

Try to copy Generic.kl to Vendor_0c40_Product_7a18.kl and start from there. Probably this made by you or downloaded from net configuration file isn't proper at all or only for KitKat Android version.

Please update to our latest 002A firmware,
tested everything of A2 should work except the USB wake up function (because of power being cut-off under deep sleep mode)

I am modifying the button mapping for the Neo A2 in /system/usr/keylayout/Vendor_0c40_Product_7a18.kl and having trouble identifying what the key code is for the button directly below the dpad.

Below the dpad there are 3 buttons from left to right: back, enter?, airmouse. This middle button of the 3, again directly below the dpad, doesn't work like a typical enter button despite having the same icon as the enter key on the backside keyboard.

I am using 2 different apps to show scancodes and the center dpad button and the backside enter key produce the same scancode (key 28) but nothing shows for this middle button that has an enter icon on it. The mouse icon shows up briefly when pressed but it doesn't move nor turn on the airmouse and it doesn't seem to act as an enter key. And of course nothing seems relevant in the Vendor_0c40_Product_7a18.kl file either.

Anyone have insight as to what this button's scancode is or a suggestion on how I can capture the scancode for this key/button?

                              Much appreciated!

ID:	437530 buttons on non-Minix machine. I have CS-Q8 Android tv box and the Android version is 4.4.2. I have tried the Vendor_0c40_Product_7a18.kl from Minix forum but it doesn't work.

Also the audio output is automatically redirect to the airmouse, which I want the output to HDMI (TV). I wonder if you know how to fix it? I have tried soundabout (media output to HDMI) but it doesn't work.

                                Thanks in advance.
