    dump stock rom cs918

    I don't have stock rom for my bricked cs918 ..but I do still have a working cs918 with stock rom ..how do I dump it so I can load it in my bricked box...not technically bricked I can still flash it but all custom roms ive tried no wifi or Bluetooth ..thanks very much

    Try this:

    I do not know if there is a separate thread with this tool, but I have found that it is the easiest one for me to use.



    Post #61 has a Dump Tool, I feel like I link to it all of the time, because of questions like this one. I highly recommend it. It was created by abdul_pt. < Thank him.

    So long as you can connect your device to the computer, install drivers, enable USB Debugging and let this tool do it's magic, it will pull off the essential elements needed for a factory reset.

    Once you get those, plug in the second one, and flash the elements to that device. I think those came with either Allwinner or Rockchip so I don't know what you need to do that, except if it is a Rockchip device, use the RK flash tool v.1.37.

      thanks for the reply......I found a rom finally that works with my box.. after puling the cover off ..sees my box has the same mother board numbers as the older cs918 ..rk3188_box_szy_x6
      v1_0 131024 but has different Bluetooth and wifi chips also remote is different .......link to the stock rom that worked for me ..all same as my original rom just different bootup or splash screen ...link to rom for someone else with my problem https://www.dropbox.com/s/6hgc9gmfgj...box_140407.img thanks
