M8 (square) Bluetooth Bug all firmware, all versions XBMC ?

Bug or unique to my particular box?

    Current configuration

    M5 Square Box/Quad Core AmLogic 450 /em8_Finless_rom16/xbmc 13.1 Gotham-armeabi-v7a

Supplied remote control works no issues

    Bluetooth issues using following devices:

    Mouse Desktop HP H3751-AA
    AirMouse iPazzport KP810-16BAR
    keyboard Logitech Bluetooth

Turn on M8 Android No Bluetooth Issues with these devices

load XBMC no BT access with any of the above devices for 1 to 2 minutes.

Desktop mouse access after 1 to two minutes erratic
AirMouse access after 1 to two minutes erratic
Keyboard access after 1 to two minutes erratic

Both mice will jump all over screen, almost impossible to control until settle down, typically 5 minutes if left alone.
Both mice once "settled down" able to click on individual icons/thumbnails or indivudual listings if in list mode, most of the time. Occasionally will motorboat and access each line or thumbnail at times lasting anywhere from 10 sec to a minute. Once in awhile necessary to turn off M8.

Keyboard pretty much same as above.

Only the M8 has exhibited this problem from the beginning using:

    factory initial release Stock ROM
    2014A_0414 (Geek Buying)
    K200A_ap6330_03282014A_0516 Geek Buying
    Finless_rom16

XBMC (.org only) frodo 12.3 through Gotham 13.1

These three Bluetooth devices work fine with the following:

    Pivos/Xios
    G Box Midnight
    Tronsmart NX
    Lenovo X-220
    Lenovo Yoga 8
    Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9

Anyone having success with Bluetooth or is this an issue with the Square M8?

My bluetooth keyboard connects fine but that is about all. The M8 does not respond to keyboard commands at all. I have tried several firmwares, no success.

Who knows how to get a Bluetooth keyboard working on this box?

After you enter the passkey information, do you hit the enter key on your keyboard? Should show connected at that time. If you escape out of settings, then come back, doesv it still show Bluetooth on?

That part works, Bluetooths is on devices, are paired, but apps on M8 i.e. browser, search xbmc do not pick up the keystrokes

Immediately after paring, I have found in the past, the M8 seems to go dumb. give it about two minutes then try your keyboard. I have found serious issues with bluetooth on the M8 using Keyboard, desktop mouse, Air mouse. see:

I did find some of the chattering I reported here seemed to almost disappear with the addition of a Bluetooth dongle to the M8! After I reported this on this forum, I found 0 responses, telling me that there are not too many on here using bluetooth. I am afraid if you are new to the M8, you are in for a disappointing ride. The chipset itself shows real promise, but the sum of all the parts including firmware seem to avoid something slightly less than "ready for Prime time." I can't fault Android or XBMC, since they both work almost flawlessly on three Android tablets and one Lenovo X220 laptop.

To be honest the Bluetooth is the only problem I have and I can live with it. As for the rest everything works great. I love this box.
