    Update:

Well, it is KitKat but the BT or WIFI Radio doesn't work on my MK809II which is a JUSTOP K9B (MediaTek Chipset)

Tried both versions of radio's provided within the link.

    Here's some rom info:

Splash startup screen displays Android Logo and Smart Box.

    Vendor software version is: RK3066_R-BOX_ANDROID4.4-SDK_V1.0.0_20140310-BCM
    Build number is: rk3066=eng 4.4.2 KOT49H eng.hyz.20140516.111711 tesk-keys
    Kernel Version 3.0.36+ Fri May 16 11:17:01 CST 2014

Display settings show all resolutions up to 1920x1080-60 although looks very much upscaled so doubt its a 1080p kernel.

ROM is very stock with minimal standard apps apart from the addition of Flumpsters Beyond XBMC 3.4 preinstalled. No idea whether they sought his permission to preinstall with this ROM.

Is it getting stuck on boot or are certain devices like wifi not working?

      Cheers,

EDIT: sorry I didn't read careful enough. Please ignore my question.

Tried it too on my MK802IIIs - MTK, and yes, Wifi doesn't work.
Now looking for possibility of using an USB Wifi dongle.

Hello guys, the rom appears to come from this site, http://ugoos.net/blog hopefully they'll fix the MediaTek radio issue as it has been mentioned by many people that the MTK version doesn't work.

Very annoying really as the rom seems to be pretty fluid. I have no USB to ethernet adapter so cannot fully test.

Nice looking clean fast rom. Rom isn't rooted. Tried rooting with kingo but fails.

Select UNROOT in Kingo; then select ROOT in second pass and it should work. Worked for me. Towelroot does not.

UPDATE! Use the ROM found by Shomari if you want a working KitKat solution for your RK3066 device. He has also compiled an overclocked kernel too, thanks Shomari!

Confirmed working on MediaTek Chipset on MK809II
