Which ROM should I install? Kit Kat or Jelly Bean? Is either compatible with XBMC Gotham 13.1?

    Hi all,

My X7 has been gathering dust for a while and I finally want to set it up properly and use it as it should be used.
Now that XBMC 13.1 is out, I'd like to be able to run that.
I assume that Kit Kat is the "best version" of Android. Is that the case? Would there be any reason to install Jelly Bean instead?

I'll mostly be streaming movies and content unto 1080p through XBMC but would also like to utilise some of android's features every now and then.
I'm after a simple, clean interface so that my girlfriend can do that too.

    Any advice would be welcomed

    Thanks.

because gotham 13.1 is made for kitkat, wouldnt make no sense to use jellybean
but i have to warn you -> gotham is not stable, not final so if you can live with some bugs your welcome ^^

I though XBMC 13.1 was stable now, no? I'm using it on my Mac without any problems (although I appreciate that the android version could differ.) What kind of problems might I encounter dermuggi? I can accept the odd crash every now and then but if it did so everyday, mid-playback, that would be annoying

For Kitkat, would it be Wasser's 4.4.2 firmware that you'd recommend, or something else?

        Thanks for your feedback
