    how to root

    tried to root cs918 using tpsparky keeps saying device not found. What can I be doing wrong? windows 7 64bit and I get a bong and it shows rockchp driver installed in device manager and I have enabled usb debugging. stumped

    Kingo root works on some RK3188 tablets... might give it a try...

      Easy root

      download root genius https://www.dropbox.com/s/omrjip57sk...RootGenius.exe
      1.Go to developer options in settings and enable "USB debugging" and disable “Verify apps via USB”.
      2.Go to security in settings and disable "Verify apps".

      After that just connect device to pc with otg and power on, then run root genius.

      tpsparky doesnt work for me either, above procedure works like a charm and extremely easy to do. You can check if root was successful by downloading a root checker app in the play store. Hope it helps.

            No dont put it in flash mode or else it wont work. I forgot to mention also disable verify apps via usb in developer options and verify apps in security. See post #3 for edited instructions.

              had to do it twice but it worked using root genius, thank you. now I need someone here with a donate button to patch the kernel
