Exhausting game between Costa Rica and the Greeks, who should have wrapped it up when CR went down to 10 men.

At least the Greek FA won't have to worry about renegotiating the managers contract, which runs out today.

Nigeria counted on too many aimless crosses into the box, which was their downfall.

Had it not been for the efforts of the Nigerian goalkeeper, it could easily have been 4.

Germany will wipe the floor with the Algerians and I can see quite a high score.

German TV wants to tell me that americans are about to discover soccer as an interesting sport. I don't believe it. See so fare no sign here...
So they are out and nobody cares.Time to move on.

We go on and talk about the last 8 teams, who will fight for the cup.
My tipp is Brazil will win against Columbia, but there is a small chance for a surprise, because maybe this time the 'Nema one man show' will be not enough.

France against Germany is diffecult. I think on a good day Germany is stronger, but on a bad day, Germany needs luck. Of course Germany must be my tipp anyway.

Netherlands vs. Costa Rica will be regular a win for the dutch, but I hope Costa Rica could show them the best middle and south america soccer they could built up. We need the netherlands tired...

Belgium will beat Argentina, because Argentina isn't so strong. The had luck so fare. Chile was the best team from south america, but they played to straight, not clever enough in tactics.

In tactics the netherlands are the best. Some should learn some things from them...
